On June 27, virtual duo RΛYΛ ✕ ŦΞGØ made their official debut with “Motion Signal,” a genre-warping single that fuses Afrofusion, K-pop, grime, and cinematic R&B into one bold transmission. Sung in both English and Korean, the track introduces not only the artists — but an entire world: the SignalVerse.
Crafted by UK-based creator Dominic Spin, RΛYΛ ✕ ŦΞGØ aren’t just musicians — they’re avatars in a sci-fi mythos. Their universe is split into competing zones, encrypted glyphs, and glitch-laced visuals where every song is a message. Their debut? A call to action.
“This isn’t just a song,” says Spin. “It’s the beginning of an entire world. A signal sent out to find others who vibe with something different.”
“Motion Signal” hits like a holographic slow-burn: haunting vocal interplay, deep rhythmic tension, and textures that evolve with every listen. RΛYΛ channels rhythm and resistance — her verses glide between smooth melody and gritty urgency. ŦΞGØ brings pulse and power — with grime-tinged flow, synthy textures, and low-end bass hits that move like seismic energy under your skin.
Visually, the duo is rendered in 2D Afrofuturist animation with fashion drawn from streetwear, digital culture, and speculative sci-fi. Think early Gorillaz meets BLACKPINK meets Afropunk 3025.
